Prerequisites

This course is designed to be accessible to developers with various backgrounds. Here's what you need to get started:

  1. No prior WebAssembly knowledge required: We'll start from the basics and build up your understanding step by step.

  2. Basic JavaScript understanding: While not strictly necessary, familiarity with JavaScript will be beneficial. We'll draw parallels here and there between JavaScript and WebAssembly, making it easier to grasp new concepts, especially in the beginning.

  3. Familiarity with programming concepts: Understanding of basic programming constructs like variables, functions, loops, and conditionals will be helpful.

  4. Curiosity and willingness to learn: WebAssembly introduces some low-level concepts that might be new to web developers. An open mind and eagerness to explore will go a long way!

  5. No code editor required: The course can be entirely completed within the integrated learning environment. You won't need to set up any additional development tools.

Don't worry if you're not an expert in all these areas. The course is designed to guide you through each concept, providing explanations and examples along the way. Your skills will grow as you progress through the chapters and exercises.
